Asian Classics Input Project An international group teams up with a local partner to save ancient texts—and modern people. The idea of a beautifully rendered, culturally significant object disintegrating into nothingness conjures up a vague grief. The New York-based NPO is dedicated to preserving ancient Asian philosophical texts and making them available for free through digital media. The process can be a long one. First, the ACIP must locate surviving copies in libraries, monasteries, archives and private collections around the world. The next step is to note the location and contents in catalogue form.
We are very excited but a little overwhelmed! In May, we discovered that the treasure trove of works in the Library was double the amount we thought. So it will take us twice as long and take twice the amount of money to get this project done. For over 30 years, The Asian Classics Input Project has been locating, cataloging, digitally preserving, and disseminating precious collections of ancient wisdom.

He is credited with helping spread a unique technique for developing an aspirational and fully immerseed mind of unconditional love. Wouldn't it be great if all of his writings could be preserved so we could benefit from his genius?
